ACHIEVEMENT: Progressive Progressive Dinners are occurring and people are familiar enough with them that they don't suspect you have a speaking difficulty when you talk about them.

PROGRESS: None to date.

DESCRIPTION: Progressive Progressive Dinners are based on the old idea of a progressive dinner moving from house to house, but with the added touch that if any money is charged to be a participant, that the proceeds are donated to a progressive cause.

Progressive dinners involve participants travelling from house to house, enjoying a course of a meal when they arrive at a new house. They are a great way of mixing culinary dishes and of people having the time to talk to each other as they travel between places. People need to take responsibility for providing a course at each of the houses and to stay there to allow for arrivals at different times. Walking between houses is the best way to arrange transport, so it is great way of reacquainting yourself with people in your neighbourhood and of eating their food!

FURTHER INFORMATION: This idea was prompted by my memories of progressive dinners I enjoyed as a younger buck, when groups of us would walk from house to house in our neighbourhood enjoying a part of a meal as we went.
